I swear by Apollo, the healer, Asclepius, Hygieia, and Panacea, and I take to witness all the gods, all the goddesses, to keep according to my ability and my judgment, the following Oath and agreement: To consider dear to me, as my parents, him who taught me this art; to live in common with him and, if necessary, to share my goods with him; To look upon his children as my own brothers, to teach them this art. I will prescribe regimens for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment and never do harm to anyone. I will not give a lethal drug to anyone if I am asked, nor will I advise such a plan; and similarly I will not give a woman a pessary to cause an abortion. But I will preserve the purity of my life and my arts. I will not cut for stone, even for patients in whom the disease is manifest; I will leave this operation to be performed by practitioners, specialists in this art. In every house where I come I will enter only for the good of my patients, keeping myself far from all intentional ill-doing and all seduction and especially from the pleasures of love with women or with men, be they free or slaves. All that may come to my knowledge in the exercise of my profession or in daily commerce with men, which ought not to be spread abroad, I will keep secret and will never reveal. If I keep this oath faithfully, may I enjoy my life and practice my art, respected by all men and in all times; but if I swerve from it or violate it, may the reverse be my lot. Can anyone see my personal data and contacts?

You can enter your data and contacts in the privacy settings as it suits your individual needs. Your data therefore cannot be viewed by third parties. You only have to release data that you would personally like to.

Your contacts have disappeared. What happened?

If this occurs, then either the contact has been deleted and disappears from your contact menu and can therefore no longer be viewed, or the deleted contact has unsubscribed from Quomi, or the contact decided to delete or block you from his personal list of contacts.

You have a new e-mail address and would like to change it within Quomi?

Change your e-mail address on the settings page. You will then receive a confirmation mail on the new e-mail account.

How do I contact other Quomi users?

At Quomi, you can contact other people by clicking on “Contacts” in the menu and subsequently there is a list of users on the menu point “Contact Suggestions”, who you may know. From this point, under the menu point “Make Contacts”, you can establish a contact with your respective concern. Or you can message someone directly. Alternatively, you can search for names or other criteria you are looking for with the search function and then establish contact with them.

You have forgotten your access data or your Quomi password or it does not work?

Make sure your password and user name have been written correctly and pay attention to the setting of your shift lock key and your space bar and the special symbols. Or did you simply forget your password? Then please click here. Activate your browser with the functions for allowing cookies, Java Script and pop-up windows.
Still doesn’t work? Then send us an E-Mail.

How does verification work?

After registering with Quomi, you can verify your identity. After verification there will be more possibilities of using Quomi.

The following proof must be provided for verification as a copy, in the form of an e-mail or fax, but it can also be sent by mail (please do not send originals).

  • For people interested in medicine, a legible copy of a personal ID/drivers license with a photograph.

Unfortunately, we do not accept business cards or websites. Verification will then be confirmed within 24 hours during working days.

If I am a non-medical practitioner or medical journalist, how do I get my password?

The same way as everyone else here. Doctors, pharmacists or specialist medical staff or the medical industry as a group are subject to the German Medical Products Advertising Act (Heilmittelwerbegesetz, HWG). You can register as a member of this group or as part of the “Medically interested” and apply for further membership rights, such as the premium membership. Register here and get your password to use Quomi.

What is the difference between verified and premium membership?

Verified Quomi users must identify themselves with a document or ID proving their employment in the medical field which must be sent to us. As a verified member you can use Quomi up to a certain degree. As a premium member, you will get full access to the Quomi functions, after you have been verified.

Tax deduction of the Quomi premium membership

Quomi.com is a medically relevant network and forum and serves the purpose of interdisciplinary exchange within the health care sector, specialist medical staff and the medical industry. Since this network is used exclusively for professional purposes, the monthly premium membership contributions can be claimed , if you are of German nationality, at the German Financial Office as advertising costs or as business expenses. In case of private use as a person "Medically interested", this tax claim may not apply. In case of any doubts, please ask your tax consultant.
